What is ISO ISO 22000?

ISO 22000:2005 is a food safety management system through which any food products related organization needs to demonstrate its ability to control food safety hazards. Thus ensuring that the food is safe at the time of human consumption.

Overview

ISO 22000 and HACCP are both similar in regards to the standards and the management system that they enforce. Similarly as the HACCP, the ISO 22000 is built to provide organizations with a food handlers certificate.

The certification is applicable to all the organizations dealing in a food-related industry. The requirements auditing and the consistency of the systems of ISO 9001:22000 can be accomplished through the use of internal and/or external auditors such as ourselves.

ISO 22000 enables the producers, processors, distributors, exporters, etc., of food products, to utilize technical resources efficiently and in a cost-effective manner in assuring food safety.

ISO 22000:2005 Requirements
