FSC

What is FSC?

FSC(Forest Stewardship Council) is an organization that promotes responsible management of forests around the world. The council provides certification to the organizations that are responsibly managing the forests. The council promotes environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial and economically viable management of the world's forests to organizations.

Overview

FSC has specified some standards for their certification. It is the only system that is supported by renowned groups like WWF, Sierra Club, Greenpeace, Natural Resources Defense Council and National Wildlife Federation.
